Hello,

I have been experimenting lately with Finite Element Analysis method and I have tried to conduct this kind of research in a 3D model of a Meles meles skull which I have produced using photogrammetry. Well I have tried to smooth my model geometry in Ansys SpaceClaim and reduce the size of it so I can mesh. I get the message that no geometry problems were found when i used Check facets after using other repairing tools but when I try to mesh i get the message "cannot retrieve edges". I have tried the smooth or reduce tool in Facets but it didnt work.

Does anybody have any ideas?

or even used the same analysis and would like to share his experience on how to handle 3D models?
