How can I determine electrical resistivity or conductivity of polymer nanocomposite? Several attempts using current or voltage generator has proved abortive as all samples reading same value with air.
Secondly, several authors coated polymers with precious metals such as gold, couldn't they be measuring the metals conductivity indirectly? I say this because an author talked about percolation threshold of gold deposit again? If this coating is mandatory, how can I perform/deposit it on the polymer to enhance conductivity?

You can do either Hall effect measurements or use linear line method by different distance gaps between two electrodes to work out the resistivity.
For the Hall effect measurements, you can find many references to explain how to do it. It requests expensive equipment.
The simple way is current-voltage measurements based on linear strip on two different distance between two electrodes. There are two papers I was involved the work to set up the measurements that you could find it useful for your work.
