The first difference is in the timeframe:

- making decision based on fundamental analysis, you could cause losing of your fund before your prediction becomes true;

- making decision based on technical analysi,s you have a chance to monetize your prediction.

The second one is in the amount of your fund

- fund of few mio USD can't trade only based on TA (due to some regulatory and other limitation, depends on the country)

- fund lesser then mentioned above - has more agility in decision making approach
