Hi to everyone! I would like to set up an experiment to measure CO2 and N2O effluexes from soil. In this I will sample air with syringe and then analyze its ghg concentration via gas chromatography.
Do you know if and where I can find some instructions to produce the chambers by myself (like a manual or something like that?)
Or maybe some of you know some company that produce them.

I worked with a researcher at the USGS in Denver who created his own chambers and I assisted in sampling using syringes - contact Dean Anderson ([email protected]) for the details on making your own chambers, the equipment needed, and how to sample most effectively - i.e., what conditions (land surface, wind speeds, time of day, etc.) are best for sampling.

Many build them out of common things like buckets, utility pans, or cafeteria trays. We've also had some built by a local metal working shop and then just drilled and attached foam, insulation, etc. afterwards.
The only significant ghg is water vapor. Three factors in an equation match average global temperature (98% match since 1895). The factors are identified at http://globalclimatedrivers2.blogspot.com
Just google for LICOR and you will find company that offer you instruments for measuring CO2 with IR sensor fixed to chamber and cost is varying according to sensors and detection limits.
