1. select a histogram plot

2. choose histogram stats from the stats menu

it will give you all kind of statistics, including MFI and GMFI

for the MFI you need to find Geometric Mean in the statistics window of the histogram after you adjust the marker on the histogram

Geometric mean of the histogram is your MFI

Mumuka, GMFI is different and MFI is different. if your fluorescent scale is in log, use GMFI (geometric MFI) else use MFI. cell quest pro produces both in statistical analysis
