Refined wheat flour was analyzed for total dietary fiber, that is, insoluble and soluble fractions, by enzymatic method using the Megazyme Kit. According to the results:
Total D.F. = 0.5 %
Soluble D. F. = 1.3 %
Therefore, Insoluble D. F. = - 0.8 %
Is it possible that insoluble fraction be negative? or is there a mistake during the assay?
