I am switching to Terrific Broth (from LB) to grow cultures for Gigapreps. I will grow 1L culture in 2.8 L baffled Erlenmeyer flasks for maximum aeration. What is the maximum OD I could expect cultures to reach under these conditions? I have seem anywhere from OD 5-18 online. At what timepoint would cells reach max OD? Is it the usual 18-20 hours, or should I grow cultures for longer?

This is for a Clinical project, so we use disposable/single use flasks: this makes testing quote expensive, so I am trying to have a firm idea of starting conditions for my first round of testing. Any wisdom (or references) would be greatly appreciated.
