I'm on a time crunch and have to fly back home and my return date to the lab where I'm doing my research is yet to be determined (hopefully in the next couple of months). I'm hoping I can store at 4oC for a couple of months in sufficient blocking solution, or is PBS a better option for the longer term storage? I'm hoping to avoid freezing at the blastocyst stage (no cryopreservation supplies for long term in LN2), unless freezing in something like PBS may allow the blastocyst to maintain its shape post fixation? I'm seeing varying recommendations but need to be realistic with what I can accomplish in my short time at this lab.

Thanks for any suggestions, this is my first time going through these assays!
