My school recently acquired a Veeco Multimode and Nanoscope IIIa. While our software and computer is set up and working, the actual Nanoscope is not powering on. We currently have it wired up, and connected to a PicoForce, the PC, and an AC power source. However, the fan is not powered on, and the red indicator power light is not powered on either. We've tried switching out the power cords and source, and the fuses do not look like they are blown, plus the PicoForce is powered on and working. Could someone help with troubleshooting this issue? I am waiting for someone to open the back to see if there is anything obviously wrong, but we would like to hear if there is anything we can do in the meantime, or anything we should be looking for.

I've tried reaching out to the Veeco Support line but haven't gotten anything yet.
