Dear All.

I think that all the engineering software adopt FEM to analyse in structure or system, yet let focus on mechanical structures ( Blade or an airfoil). to study that we need to determine the equation of motion so we can figure displacement or vibration of this structure.

I know that the overall model consist of MASS-SPRING matrix.

but I am still confused how is that mathematically analysed! let focus on ANSYS .... How ANSYS calculate the matrix elements for each structure?

is someone have a book or a reference that well explain this I will be very thankful.
