Its 5 months old seedling (Length about 27cm, leaves 6) of A. marina emerged from seed under submerged conditions in lab (Temp. 24±2 °C, under florescent light LUX 608 average). 3 Liter of modified Hoagland nutrient solution (Jian et. al., 2019) in 25% autoclaved filtered sea water, is used to maintain submerged condition. The final pH and EC of solution were 6.23 and 17.00 mS/cm respectively. This solution was changed on monthly basis. But after 4 and half months the leaves (except top pair of new leaves) getting burn from tips (as seen in attachments). I am in search of possible cause/causes and solution of this leaves burning, So please contribute in my searching.
