I need to perform an ELISA to study cytokines in mice lung. 

I have like 20mg of lungs.. what is the volume of RIPA needed to lyse it?

On the other hand, I would like to ask if you know if a lysis buffer could interfere with ELISA reagents? because i was using active motif kit (Nuclear Extract Kit) to prepare a whole extract of lungs and the ELISA results seem to be not normal... so now i will try RIPA...
