Hi all, anyone have experience with longitudinal multilevel modeling. This analysis will be more powerful which will be helpful for me as COVID-19 shut down has cut my data collection short. I have to move forward to analyze the data for class, at least for now. My question is if there is a way to compare each time point directly. I have the results of the intercept (time 1) and the slope (growth), but I am wondering if I can compare time 2-5 between protocols as well. I believe this information will help to understand the effects of the protocol. I know with pairwise comparisons this is possible with RMANOVA, but am hoping I can get the same with multilevel modeling. I feel as though adding other time variables would just be comparing different slopes, and there is not much growth over time so quadratic and cubic time variables likely will not work. Can I add and compare multiple intercepts by adding the time variables with different 0 points coded? Any thoughts are appreciated!
