Lipoprotein isolation/precipitation from proteins in mouse plasma?

Does anyone have experience in separating lipoproteins from proteins in mouse plasma with a simple precipitation or any other similar method (preferably, not expensive), so that the RNA bound to either lipoproteins or proteins stays in the same fraction as its carrier? Which buffers should i use?
