I have conducted research. Made a questionnaire. I tried to make a correlational analysis, but now there is trouble. Should I sum the total of answers and correlate it as a satisfaction with each factor or how does it work? Are there any good recommendations on resources on how to understand and analyze the data with the Likert scale?

Please note that most data from all kinds of rating scales, Liker for example, only have ordered categorical properties- numerical scores represent an ordering, som a quantitative value with defined magnitude and distance. Only rank-based methods are permissible for obtaining valid results. Sorry to say, but it is extremely common to ignore this fact- which means that a majority of published result are based on wrong statistics - and are therefore false! This is not good for research!
Only rank-based non-parametric methods will provide reliable results.
