Light scattering detector cleaning - gel permeation chromatography.What would be the best method to clean this detector?

I have a problem with the light scattering detector coupling to the gel permeation chromatograph. The detector signal is given in mV. Even passing only distilled water (properly filtered). What would be the best method to clean this detector?
