We have recorded the LIBS spectra of LiYF4 crystal in the range from 590 nm to 675 nm (spectra attached). We found, two lithium lines at 610 nm and 670 nm. In addition we also found Yttrium lines in the spectra. To our surprise, we found a molecular structure around 610 nm lithium line in the  spectra. Initial analysis of this spectrum reveals that this molecular structure belongs to H2. To our surprise, H-alpha line at 656 nm was also missing in this spectra. Any comments, about H2 spectra and why H-alpha line is missing.
