Levigates of foraminifera in lithified phosphorite crusts

I m looking for one method to separate levigates of foraminifera from phophorite crusts. They are fundamentally carbonated foraminifera and the phosphates are strongly lithified.Can you recommend me any physical and/or chemical method to obtain the microfossils? Many thanks
