Does anybody know how difficult is to create a knockout mutant in a plasmid or in the chromosome of Bacillus thuringiensis?
It is an analogous process of interference by RNAi from eukaryotes. You can activate this process with dsRNA, analogous to the sequence target for silencing . You need deliver a syntetic dsRNA or an expresing system for that.
