I am conducting a survey based research and the target population of my study is frontline workers in the retail industry. The aim is to identify reasons of employee turnover. The sample size is 450 employees and I will be doing SEM.

Going by the definitions of probability and non-probability sampling techniques, I have shown that I am using simple random sampling. However, I am confused how to justify it?

My justifications are "As the target population were frontend employees who had little, fair and no experience in retailing, they must have some opinion about work nature of the retail industry. Therefore, we can claim that each respondent of the target population has the equal chance of being selected and they are representative of target population hence, probability sampling technique was used"

I would like to know whether it is appropriate or not?
