I couldn't start my sample run because the baseline keeps on moving up and down. I cleaned with cleaning solution and tried running water to water scan. But still its same. New to ITC. It would be great if anyone would help.
Jinhui Dong I checked on the syringe but couldn't see it bent. With excessive cleaning, we were able to start water to water scan. But the baseline still seems to be noisy. I have attached the baseline here.
Humberto Martínez-Orozco one user had the same problem before a few times. She just used to clean and give up on it. after a week or two, it would be okay.
Do you use SDS and water for cleaning? We use these solutions and a device (a steel tube with a diameter just a little lower than the cell diameter) connected to a vaccum system. Then, we can remove the most part of water and SDS and the cell is dried. If you are cleaning using syringes, sometimes dried residues of previous analysis could not be dissolved by cleaning if you don't use SDS.
On the other had, this kind of troubleshoots could be related to the installations (i.e, voltage) or electronic failures inside of the apparatus like the temperature stabilizer, even a slight friction produced by stirrer if this has been deformed because of bad introduction to the cell.
