There are many people who have started to manipulate H-Index with self citations. Google should now I think provide the H-Index with and without self citations. There is another solution very delicate one provided in 2009 named "f-index" which dont considers citations while it considers that in citing papers who are the authors so a paper is not weighted by using the citations its index is calculated by how many different people are citing it. e.g. in this case the person or groups who will be doing self citations will get less weight as there are may be many citations but the number of people citing are not much, they are repetitive. What do you people think?
