I'm trying to study survival of cells under heatshock stress and I want to use YOYO-1 to look at the amount of cells dying. I'm finding that YOYO-1 is not picking up dying cells as properly as it does under 37 degrees.
I tried to look it up online but does anyone have experience using YOYO-1 dye or even CAS3/7 to look at dying cells in heatshock? Is the dye even stable at that temp? (I'm adding these dyes while the cells are incubated at 42 degrees).

Yah YOYO-1 dye is stable at 42°C.
But even 420C also the YOYO-1 Dye not picking up dying cell.
You try to change the polar nature favored dying cell means with 370C also it pick. so you have receive this problem because of your dying cell.
