Does anyone know if it has been proven if there is hyperactivation of TOR (target of rapamycin) in the galls of plants? I searched but could not find anything specific. I ask this question because I think there are many indications that this might be a way in the genesis of galls: morphology, presence of syncytial cells, inhibition of autophagy, disaggregation of actin filaments, stress energy, etc.. I enclose a TOR signaling pathway from KEGG.

I am a human pathologist.

Thanks and best regards
