Recently EMPA, Zurich, Switzerland has been reported highly efficient (efficiency 20.8 %) flexible solar cells fabricated from CIGS on polyimide. Is this possible to fabricate flexible perovskite solar cells?
Yes you can fabricate flexible perovskite solar cells on flexible substrates. It is so that such solar cells are very thin film solar cells whose layers are in the orders of 100 nanometers. In addition all the fabrication processes are low temperature processes such as solution processed solar cells. Pervoskite and organic solar cells are suitable for flexible solar cell technology.
