Last month I received such a mail. It was an agency from Malaysia in collaboration with an Indian group from Chennai. They selected me as the best researcher on the basis of the research paper published in a reputed SCI journal. They were demanding some registration fee, so I denied them.

These days, it has become a new way of earning money on the name of research. Actually such people are playing with academics.

We should not give any kind of consideration to these people and groups.

I received an email from a Chinese Doctoral student inquiring he also received similar email whether its fake..

I got the email too. Only people that needs cheap fame will fall for them. They do not even have an organistional website or email.

I have received this email too. It's a scam I think. Why must anyone pay to be honoured for a work they have done!

I just received the same email declaring me 'Winner at World Championship 2018 in Chemical Science  (  Water treatmen)' Note the mistake. I did not apply for such a championship and this is just another strategy to prey on researchers.

I got this email but i was suspicious and politely turned it down.

I received similar e-mail today. When a sender asks you to pay from the start in order to win award, you should have a doubt about the aim of the sender.

There may be other types of cheating email as well, lets be careful and share so that other people will be alert.

I received a message through email like this fraud.

This is another fake practice introduced in the academic world by some dubious minded fake academia to make money. This is unrealistic. I saw such message in my E-mail today 18/02/2019

Note the blunder: World Championship 2019 in Political Science then BREAST CANCER. A researcher with his/her critical mind should not be told that this is fraudulent. the implicated organizations like International Agency for Standards and Ratings (IASR), World Data Center (WDC), Central Bank of India should please help us out. We do open Access publication for people to have easy access to research information but not to be subjected to scam.

I just received the email today 19 Februar,y 2019. I just wanted to confirm its authenticity and I found this thread. I think its a new way of defrauding academics. Quite unfortunate.

I am happy this information is useful !

Last month I received such a mail. It was an agency from Malaysia in collaboration with an Indian group from Chennai. They selected me as the best researcher on the basis of the research paper published in a reputed SCI journal. They were demanding some registration fee, so I denied them.

These days, it has become a new way of earning money on the name of research. Actually such people are playing with academics.

We should not give any kind of consideration to these people and groups.
