After IHC amyloid plaque in hippocampus of 5xFAD, one of alzheimer's disease model, I found that there are different stain level of amlyoid beta on that region.

Some mice's Amyloid plaque stains are low and other are high.

Is there variation of amyloid beta expression level in hippocampus among 5xFAD?

If there is the variation, is there any methods instead of IHC in amyloid beta reduction experiment in the mouse model?

I will treat a chemical into hippocampus of 5xFAD and compare amyloid beta reduction level between the chemical treated and non-treated mice.
