Its a general trend in India that we are not able to use randomization in experiments on drip irrigation due to the fact that a same lateral can not be used for different treatments. Rather we have to arrange same treatments in a row.

But its violating the basic principle of experimental design.

Even if it can't be randomized, then should there be any statistical corrections to be applied?
