From the time Smallpox vaccine was introduced successfully several vaccines have used for mass vaccination. What are the steps taken to prove the efficacy and safety of the vaccines when they were used to contain epidemics.

First,The tested vaccine must be innocuous( no any harm in the body). Second,Must be effectiv,e, means protect from infection,third,easily handled and economical(coast).fourth,response well to challenge protect.
