I try to synthesize chitosan nanoparticle loaded xanthone compound. But in the process of adding drug into chitosan solution, the drug has low solubility and make it become large particle. I dissolved xanthone compound in DMSO. is there anyone know, the others solvent for xanthone and make it keep soluble when I add into chitosan solution? thanks

As Amin said, you can dissolve it in chloroform, but I am not sure if that is helpful as chloroform is not missbale with water. As such it wont entrapped in your nanoparticles.
Have you try to do a concentrated stock solution of xanthone in acid and add it to your chitosan aqueous solution? I think this would help better
