Agricultural saline land is big problem in irrigated tract of western Maharashtra. i just want to know existing status and practices to overcome the same problem.

Concerted research efforts are going on to improve the productivity of saline agricultural lands in Maharashtra State. For updated information on the subject, I suggest you to go through the Journal of the Indian Society of Coastal Agricultural Research regularly published (two issues per year) by the Indian Society of Coastal Agricultural Research (www.iscar.org.in).
