Is there any specific explanation why I need to use lower strain for stiff sample and higher strain for the rubbery sample? Because from my observation, it is quite difficult to get Glass Transition (Tan Delta) from the curve. For example, you can see the attachment, the graph is split into 2.

As Yi said, strain rate is important in testing load-strain relationship of materials. This sometime gives you different tensile curves for the same materials under different strain rate. Most materials show elastic linear tensile and nonlinear tensile from yield point, such as polymer fibers. However, for some stiff materials, they may not have yield point that shows breakage at elastic stretching stage. For some rubbery materials, they may not have elastic stretching stage that directly shows nonlinear tensile curve. This tensile curve depends the internal structure and components of materials themselves.
