This question arose because of the fact that some Journals have been listed on Beall's List of predatory Journals long time ago and they are still indexed in Scopus up till now. What is the risk of publishing in such Journals ? Those Journals are also available as one of the recommended Journals by your institution that you can submit articles or your manuscript to but when you check such journals you find them in both Scopus List as well as Beall's List and when you publish in such Journal it takes no time to be enrolled on your Scopus database. Similarly, some publishers have been black listed on Beall's List and some of their Journals are List in Scopus. What are the pros and cons of publishing in such Journals, though the journals are not blacklisted but the publishers.
