I am currently modeling the behavior of concrete structure under cyclic loading test by using ABAQUS. I am sort of confused regarding the proper modeling technique in order to predict the appropriate behavior of the specimen model. Maybe some of you have the knowledge about the case that I've been struggling with?

for simulating cyclic loads you just need to define damage parameters.

I have tried it and the results of envelope curve showed the good agreement with the experimental results. However, the hysteresis loop seemed a bit different with experimental work. Can you advise me another modeling technique?
I am interested with Concrete Smeared Cracking. However, I have no idea how to input the parameters.

Concrete Smeared Cracking is only suitable for monotonic loading. It would not give you reasonable results for the cyclic loading case.
My comment is that you may still need to focus on Concrete Damage Plasticity (CDP) model. Parameters of damage evolution theory are the key issue of CDP model. If you model a building for a research purpose, do a simple test may give you results of these parameters. However, I would highly recommend you to look up some standard or codes. Chinese concrete structures design code directly provide equations for computing damage indexes based on different strength of concrete.
