Is there any other ways to estimate the crystalite size because Scherrer's equation to determine the crystallites size is not recommended. I am looking answer for Single crystalline oriented films XRD.
I know Willam Hallson and Varience method are available but these are for polycrystalline which have multipal peaks XRD patterns.
Tell us please which epitaxial material have you grown and on what type of substrate? What type of XRD measurements have you done? If you material is single-crystalline you should not have crystallites/grains and you could determine the lattice parameters.
ZnSe is the material grown grown on Glass substrate, we are able to see Two orientations in our case. I have calculated the lattice parameters as well. typical 2theta measurement with done by brukarr d8 diffractometer. I m interested to calculated the crytallite size.
