How to test - whether a particular body fat is from cow or buffalo or pig or goat? is there any test or marker to confirm that it is derived from animal body fat or it is derived from milk source?
I am not sure that if composition of fatty acids are sufficiently different, especially when there is mixing of several sources, for you to be able to easily distinguish the origin. However, if some cellular contents are also present, it would be quite simple to use PCR and identify the animal.
I don't think there is a possibility to make marker of the mixed fatty acid in the body. First of all they are not the only source to develop fatty. For if there is a possibility to make a controlled sample study supplying different source of fats or lab organization depending on the core of investigation that can be interesting but still what matter what is end a achievement forecast .....
Dear Tausif Alam and Aklilu Nigussie... Thanks for your valuable inputs.
In Ghee (anhydrous milk fat, or Butter) sample, there are chances of adulteration with cheap sources of animal body fat. So I wanted to develop a rapid test to detect the adulteration in ghee sample.
