Hi,
I have list of microbes with me, and I want to check whether particular microbes have probiotic applications. Is there any database for this particular application. At least I can get preliminary idea that particular microbe is pathogenic or not.

Hello, there is no unique database for probiotics as everyday study can discover new candidates for them.
The main representatives of probiotic microorganisms are Lactobacilli, Bifidobacterium, Sacharomycetes, and Bacillus subtilis.
There are certain criteria that need to be fulfilled by probiotic candidate microorganisms to become probiotics.
First, it should be nonpathogenic, with acid and bile tolerance, adhesion stability, and then some of the probiotic activities like the ability to produce protease-resistant bacteriocin, etc.
