Stool samples preservation for protozoan parasites.
Dear Abdullah,
We use formalin in our lab to preserve the positive faecal samples and with the years you can still identify the protozoa organisms. It works very well.

A good fixative especially for trophozoites, cysts and also helminths ova is SAF (Junod's solution).
