I am working on the development of low cost milk analyzer for small dairy farmers. I have tried to dig out 100s of literature so far but still wonder if there are any reagents which react specifically with fat to bring about a color/spectra change.
I like to read the final signal shift with a spectrometer in the range 350-1000nm.
I have read pubs.rsc.org/en/content/articlehtml/2014/cc/c4cc04670f and https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/27731366. I could not understand the latter much though. I am trying to make a pool of similar researches.
