For example, Cas9 translation can be silenced by addition of dsRNA to Cas9. Is there an equivalent for gRNAs? Something that either degrades the gRNA or complexes to it to avoid binding to Cas9? For example could you target gRNAs for degradation by the RISC complex? Would adding an anti-sense gRNA complex to the existing gRNA, preventing it from binding to Cas9?
Any ideas or suggestions would be welome.

Adding an antisense to the gRNA will make it inactive. Binding to Cas9 will be prevented. Whether it we be degraded by the RISC complex depends on the size of the complementary strand.
