i have read about coomassie brilliant blue (CBB) reagent, can i use it to do quantification of nisin using CBB by spectrophotometry method ?
Mr. Nyoman, whether you to check the quantity of nisin or efficacy of nisin? because it is preservative, even if you find the quantity of nisin, you cannot ensure the efficacy of equivalent amount, i hope this helpful

unfortunately, i was looking for a way to quantify Nisin (a bacteriocin with antimicrobial activity), not Niacin. but, i thank you for your answer Mr. Tareq.
I am going to make a microsphere system of nisin, which is i need to determine the entrapment efficiency and so on. so i am looking for a way to quantify nisin using a spectrophotometer if possible.
if it's not possible, can i quantify nisin using inhibition zone diameter against a bacteria ? i mean, i create a calibration curve between concentration of nisin vs. inhibition zone diameter.
