I recently got used some stock wafers of full of graphite and hBN flakes from a lab-mate.

Unfortunately the labels on them got erased.

I therefore wanted to know if I could categorize the wafers as of exfoliated graphite or hBN just by seeing it in optical microscope. (as there are a lot of them, I really don't have time and easy access to do afm or raman)

I did observe that the wafers with hBN tend to show a multitude of colors unlike graphite flakes.

Could this be used to distinguish them ?
