Having in mind the impact of the specificities of the regional or local business context on the start-ups' success or failure, I am seeking to find however if there are validated questionnaires to study the general picture of the critical success or failure factors. Three layers could be studied here, such as personality, external and internal context ex-ante and ex-post (e.g. assessment of readiness, supportive components of the external business environment, management or organisational capabilities).
Within this big frame, I am particularly interested in the finance factor in its three types of manifestation - access, choice of investors, and financial literacy or better, financial management skills.

Thank you very much, dear Nasser! It will be interesting to collaborate with you. Here my aim is to study the critical failure factors for the Bulgarian start-up community and, especially, are those factors really and primarily financial. Still, the more I deepen into the topic, the more curiosity I gain. :) What about the opposite - the positive dynamics - what exactly makes the start-ups survival after three or five years to be successful.
