Is there any standard Matlab pipeline/toolbox to preprocess continuous blood pressure (BP) data?
I have collected BP and ECG data simultaneously and would like to know which filters I should use, how to deal with artefacts, and son on...
Both the BP and ECG traces last roughly 20 minutes and are divided into two blocks.
I would really appreciate if someone could link me to some references, especially if those looked into BP changes and emotions.

Standard filtering and prepossessing pipeline should work fine for BP and ECG as well, but differs in the range of filtering. I will stick to matlab functions in referring to the preprocessing steps. However, there is no golden standard for preprocessing for such biomedical signals ( please refer me if there is). The BP is a slow measurement and low pass /or band pass filter can eliminate the related artifacts ( lowpass() in matlab). Typically, the BP is obtained by windowing approximation, thus there should be an elimination for some parts of the recording at the beginning and end of the recording as well. Also, for the long duration of recordings, you may want to account for any drift due to the device error ( detrend() in matlab ). In addition, smoothing could help to make the signal more suitable for the analysis ( smooth() in matlab). Finally, you can use the find outlier function in matlab after all previous steps ( isoutlier() in matlab) and either substitute the outliers with mean/median or eliminate them.

In all of our studies we record continuous BP and ECG and process it with MATLAB. I have written some scripts to process these data I can share with you. I use ECG to better analyze BP data especially for baroreflex measures.
Regarding filtering for BP I use a low pass filter with cut-off of ~30 Hz. Do not use high pass filter or detrending for BP.
For ECG, it depends if there was analogue filtering during recording or not. A band pass filter of 1-150 Hz works very well.
