yes, there is correlation between ITP and pervious viral infection

Dear Dr. Alfatlawi,

ITP is the first line of innate immunity against viral and microbial infection.

Endothelialitis is followed by edema.

Edema is followed by thrombocyte-aggregation.

Thrombocyte-aggregation is followed by megakaryocytic exhaustion and if production becomes lower than aggregational-loss, ITP follows.

Streptococci and sore throat have been the major inducers in pre-antibiotic times.

Prof. Schönlein saw ITP as part of Rheumatic Fever (1839).

Dear Atlawi,

if You start the coagulation-cascade with Factor XII, You will come into

thrombocyte-activation. The white thrombus is associated with the hyaline-membrane-syndrome: thrombocyte debris inside the lung. Prof. Lasch and Prof. Sandritter described the phenomenon as pathologist and treated it with unfractionated heparin 20.000 - 30.000 IU/day. Prof. Colman translated this treatment to the USA and the world.

Prof. Varki said since 20 years: Only UFH works with thrombocytes. LMWH does not.
