I am in need of a therapeutic IgA product for a patiente with exclusive IgA immunodeficiency and frequent mucosal infections. I know there was a preparation given as spray. Does anyone know if it is still commercially available and which is the laboratory manufacturing it?.

To my knowledge there is no IgA product licensed in the US or in the EU. There are products licensed in the EU that contain significant amounts of IgA. All the US licensed products are low or very low in IgA. There is a us company, Secretory IgA, that is working on an IgA product. I believe that one or more of the large plasma processing companies are also looking at IgA products but are very early in the development stage.
