As I am interested in thermoablation of tumors, is it possible that boiling (magnetic susceptibility artifact) due to inappropriate heating (too strong and/or too fast as with microwaves for example) can damage the tumor residue and suddenly cause metastasis, notably in the liver ?

Does anyone have an opinion on this particular subject, or even practical feedback?

What would be the mechanistic rationale?

Thank you in advance for your answers ?
