I am not sure of the word '' well known'' but there is a DNA lab in Kaduna which I understand they also send samples to USA for sequencing but do other stuff and I know my student has got his isolates sequenced through the lab even though it took a very long time. People have mentioned Ibadan to me before but I am not sure where or who to contact. However, doing stuff on gene expression and sequencing may require that you or the person doing the research be directly involved. We do those stuff here in UK but basically cloning and expression of microbial genes, but can suggest a lab which may be able to do that for you so long as you can provide them with clean DNA, primers and vector type etc. but again they are not in Nigeria.
