I would like to look at nerve cell bodies that send out axons that innervate the pancreatic islets. From the research I did, it appears that parasympathetic innervation comes from intrapancreatic ganglia, while sympathetic innervation comes primarily from the coeliac ganglion. Is there a known protocol for isolating the coeliac ganglion from a mouse? For parasympathetic innervation, when the pancreas is dissected, do the intrapancreatic ganglia come out with it? Thanks for the advice.
