I asked because usually when I work with membranes, pre-compaction time is around 30-min to 1 hour and the membrane will become stable. I used DI water first and pristine membrane as the baseline. However, the permeate flow rate continued to decrease even though there were no contaminants.

Whereas when I am using the heavy-duty pump at the same pressure, it only takes 1 hour to stabilize.

I need your advice, please.
